The development of new and better technology has been a characteristic of our race for millennia. The last century however has seen revolution upon revolution. Although the technology itself might be considered neutral, there is now a growing need for everyone to determine how to deal with it.

Over a single generation the daily life has changed so much that the rules and guidelines we ourselves grew up under, are already obsolete. How should a modern day parent react when their eight year old daughter wants to start a Youtube channel, for example? When every child has a smartphone by second grade?

Here we will take a closer look at both the good and the bad sides of technology. What are the most promising developments and what might one best be wary of?
